TutorBird Information

I use Tutorbird for all my administration tasks, the Tutorbird platform gives me a one stop administration platform that enables me to spend less time on admin, more time on lessons and gives my clients a better overview of where they are with regard to my tutoring service.

All clients will be issued with log on details to the platform during our introduction meeting from where they will be able to access all the following information and carry out various tasks. 

• Access their schedule of lessons on their homepage and in the calendar section. 
• Access my notes from each lesson and look at the student’s attendance to lessons. 
• Access and view all their payments and any outstanding balance due via the accounts and invoices section. 
• Any announcements or key information that I need to inform you of will be posted on TutorBird in the blog posts section, please keep an eye out for these.
• View some of the personal information that I hold on TutorBird. 

You will also be able to cancel lessons via the portal, by accessing the calendar and opening the appropriate lesson slot and pressing the cancel button. Please be aware that my cancellation policy still applies, and that I will only accept cancellations via the TutorBird portal. Cancellations made in any other way will be subject to my standard cancellation policy where cancellations within 24 hours will be charged at full price.

For students on the waiting list who are looking for ad hoc lessons and cancelled slots, these will also be available on the calendar on the TutorBird portal and will be highlighted in red. You will be able to log on and book these slots for yourself. Please be aware that all cancelled slots will be offered on a first come first served basis, regardless of your position on the waiting list.  A notification of sudden available slots will be periodically sent to clients via email. The slots can be found in the calendar section on the dates and times that the lessons are available. Bear in mind that you can actually book in for any lessons before I send them out to everyone, so it may be worth checking back and forth just in case.
