Revision Advice

I quite often get asked how to revise, so thought I'd write up some suggestions of things you can do to revise. Some of the below may work really well for you and some may not, what's most important is that you try a variety of different methods to find what suits you best. Here's some ideas for you:

• Read over a topic
• Read over the answers to questions
• Write your own notes
• Write your own notes over and over again
• Complete examples
• Condense your notes
• Highlight key points on your notes
• Use the notes app on your device to create your own notes
• Add a time constraint to your work
• Mark your own work
• Annotate your workings
• Memorise necessary information
• Watch videos
• Ask someone to test you
• Teach a topic to someone else
• Revise with friends
• Create then use a  check list
• Create then use a revision timetable
• Create then use topic booklets
• Create then use mind maps
• Create then use flowcharts
• Create then use flash cards
• Create then use post-it notes
